Thank God it’s Friday Saturday! The sun is shining and this is the best time of the week to hang around in the old town. Spain is famous for its colorful food markets and Valencia is no exception. This Market Tour will take you from the vibrant Central Market, one of Europe’s largest and oldest running food markets, to the modern Colon Market.

What are we up to?

We will take our time wandering around the stalls of Mercado Central and soak up all the sights and smells. Have a little pre-lunch by having some of our best traditional food! BTW, Vermouth is back in fashion in Spain! Have one accompanied by cod croquettes, Spanish ham or pisto; the Spanish ratatouille.

After that we will have a walk to discover the history of our commercial hub and our little Covent Garden: Mercado de Colon. A last stop to relax surrounded by the amazing architecture of this redesigned market as a leisure area with shops, restaurants and cafes. This location offers a more relaxed environment and the perfect opportunity to taste our local drink “Horchata”.
